Alright—so I was very pleased with this duvet right out of the box. The quality appears to be top notch and the weight of the duvet is not too light and not too heavy. Seems like it won't smother us at night. Yay!The one flaw-and in my opinion it's a big one—there are no tabs/loops to secure your duvet to the duvet cover. (Cover has ties) I probably should have checked more closely prior to ordering, but I can't remember the last time I purchased a duvet that didn't have tabs/loops for securing the duvet cover. My mistake.I'll be keeping this because overall it's a nice duvet, but disappointed that I have to now sew on my own tabs/loops to secure the coverbefore I can use it.

I actually bought the same comforter from a department store which I thought I was getting a great deal. I repurchased the King comforter from Amazon and returned the other comforter to the department store. I ended up getting a larger comforter and saving $30 dollars.

I love the crinkle sound it makes (due to high thread count of Egyptian cotton). This comforter is PERFECT for warmer climates because it's not very warm and it keeps you cool at night. If you sleep warm but still like a cover on you, this is the comforter for you. VERY good quality and not very spendy.

It was important to have a cotton cover even I didn't get the natural feather filling. Small steps. It is a nice medium weight and do just fine in the all year around providing you keep the inside climate appropriate for your comfort level.

Purchased this when it was on sale and I love it! It is a thicker down comforter than even our $200 comforter. Chose the California King size and it is only slightly larger than our King comforter, but it is still great! The thread count is soft. I washed and hung dry, and then fluffed in the dryer, and it handled it all very well. No big lumps in any areas after washing.
